Brooke Burns was born on March 16, 1978 , in Dallas, Texas, USA. She is an actress, known for Shallow Hal (2001), The Most Wonderful Time of the Year (2008) and Titanic II (2010). She has been married to Gavin O'Connor since June 22, 2013. The couple has one child. She was previously engaged to Julian McMahon. As host of Dog Eat Dog (2001) she claimed that "Strip Darts" is her absolute favorite game. She began modeling at the age of 15. She danced ballet for 12+ years throughout her early years. She suffered a broken neck however was able recover without paralysis. Nominated as number 31 on the Maxim magazine Hot 100 of 2005 list. Has two sisters. Sister-in-law of Greg O'Connor. Burns later made an appearance in the action-drama show Baywatch. In 1998. She then appeared on the second edition of Baywatch, titled "Baywatch: Hawaii", until she left the show due to her first child. The actress was on the show for 33 episodes. Her character in the 2001 film Shallow Hal was written specifically for Burns following the Farrelly brothers noticed that she was the "prettiest dorky girl" when she was auditioning. She co-starred alongside Henry Winkler, in The Most Wonderful Time of the Year 2008 which was a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie.
