Elizabeth Leigh Vassey

Elizabeth Leigh Vassey (born August 9th 1973, died in 1972) is an American actress. She played the role as Emily Ann Sago on the television series All My Children, Captain Liberty on the 2001 television series The Tick as well as Wendy Simms on the television series CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Nikki Beaumont is the web-based series Nikki & Nora. Vassey was Emily Ann Sago, a teenager, in the All My Children's soap from 1988 to 1991. Vassey was a frequent actor on the show Tru Calling from 2004 to 2005 as Dr. Carrie Allen. In the episode "The Most Important Thing You'd Like to Do is to Wind Up with a Hump" from 2003, she was featured in "Twanging Your Magic Clanger" and "The Crazy Bitch Gazette" (2011), and in "Nice to Meet You, Walden Schmidt" (the season's premiere with Ashton Kutcher).From 2005 to 2010, Vassey was a regular character in the role of Wendy Simms on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation. Vassey began to appear in the opening credits of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation series as a regular cast member, and was promoted to a permanent role with the series' tenth season. Entertainment Weekly reported on June 1st, 2010 that Vassey did not plan to return for the show's eleventh season. Vassey was in one episode of the season. Vassey, who is married to David Emmerichs (a camera operator) she founded Neurosis To A T(ee), a company which designs and sells t-shirts with slogans for women. The slogans are often funny and refer to female issues and anxieties.
