Alyson Le Hannigan

Alyson Lee Hanigan was born 24 March 1974. American actress and host on television, she is the daughter of actor Alyson Lee Hannigan. She is known for her parts in Buffy the Vampire Slayer (1997-2003), Willow Rosenberg (2005-2014), and Lily Aldrin (2005–2014), which earned her the People's Choice Award in 2009. Michelle Flaherty (1999–2012) was also one of her credits. Hannigan hosts Penn Teller: Fool Us since 2016. Teller The Fright Us began in the year 2016. Hannigan is also Claire Clancy, an animated character from Fancy Nick (2018-2018). Hannigan is the sole daughter of Emilie (Posner) Haas (a real estate agent) and Alan Hannigan (a Teamsters worker). Hannigan's mother was Jewish Her father was Irish. At age four, Hannigan began appearing in commercials. Hannigan moved to Hollywood when she was in her twelfth year with her mother. Her father, who was a casting agent, was with her in Santa Barbara. She auditioned. She attended California State University Northridge after high school. She was part of of the Alpha Chi Omega fraternity in Northridge and earned an undergraduate degree in psychology. Hannigan was the first actress to make an appearance in the 1988 film My Stepmother Is an Alien. Seth Green, who was later her partner on Buffy, was one of her co stars. Hannigan made her debut in TV in 1989, when she became an actress on ABC's sitcom Free Spirit. Hannigan was just a teenager when was an infantsitter of Bob Saget, her How I Met Your Mother co-star. Hannigan was later picked to be Willow Rosenberg in Buffy the Vampire Slayer's favorite character Buffy Summers. In 1997, Hannigan received the national attention. She also cared for Bob Saget's children on the series How I Met Your Mom. Angel had her reprise her role in the role of Willow in two episodes.
