Annie Wersching Bio

Annie Wersching was born March 28th, 1977. She is an American actress. Her role includes Renee Walker on the American television series 24. Motion capture and voice work were also used for aTess in the videogame of NaughtyDog, The Last of Us. Wersching was born in St. Louis, Missouri and was raised there. She graduated from Crossroads College Preparatory School, St. Louis' Central West End in the year 1995. While in her youth she participated in Irish dance, and was a part of the St. Louis Celtic Stepdancers. Millikin University gave her a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, which she earned in 1999. Wersching started her acting career with an appearance on the television show Star Trek: Enterprise, and then moved to guest starring roles on shows such as Charmed and Killer Instinct. She also appeared on Supernatural and Cold Case. She played Amelia Joffe, a recurring character in ABC Daytime's soap opera General Hospital from March 2007 to November 2007. Other theater credits include Victory Gardens, Marriott Lincolnshire and the Utah Shakespearean Festival. Wersching was also a guest on several roles on TV shows like CSI, NCIS and Rizzoli & Islands Hawaii Five-0 and Body of Proof. 2014 saw her becoming the regular series star for the Amazon Prime crime drama Bosch. Wersching played the National League's catcher in 2009 Taco Bell All-Star Legends and Celebrity Softball Game. In December 2012, it was revealed Wersching was the voice actor and mocap actor for Tess in the PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last of Us. Her character was teased via Geoff Keighley's Twitter account before she was shown in the trailer for the story which was shown on Spike Video Game Awards on December 7, 2012.In September 2021, it was announced that Wersching would be playing the Borg Queen in the sequel to Star Trek: Picard.
